Rear Seating

Ok, hear me out...

I was working on the floor in my van tonight [AGAIN] and got to thinking about rear seating. I need to figure this out before I get the floor painted/lined. I currently have one bench seat.

I have been toying with the idea of putting a power seat in the center of the van, then building some storage over the rear wheel wells. I was thinking of making the storage the same height as the seat when it's locked flat. This way I could lay a air mattress/sleeping pad across both the seat and storage and have plenty of room to spread out [I'm 6'1" tall].

This way I have seating for additional passengers. I will have storage. And I will have a bed that turns into a sleeping area that doesn't make me feel like I'm in Japan!

Im 6'3" and want EXACTLY the same thing. Im currently designing one out too, and have a very solid plan laid out so far. Problem is Im one of those guys who can buuld it out of my head but cant draw out the plans. If youre ever in my neck of the woods hit me up! We'll talk shop and have lunch or something.
