Well, I've been lurking here for a while, and finally picked up my 67 G10 108 van last night. I'm from Calgary, Alberta and getting ready for the snow to melt so I can get started on this thing! The body is a little rough, everything from the rockers up is pretty straight, but rockers and rear corners definately need some love. First priority will be getting the thing running, as the last owner tore down the 283 and left it for me to reassemble. No biggie! I'll be tearing out the 3 on the tree, and replacing it with a 2 speed powerglide from my 65 Beaumont. Once that's up and running, then I'll tackle the sheetmetal.
Well, here are a few pics for ya, and hope to get to know alot of you on here. Looks like a great community to be a part of, and tonnes of knowledge!
Oh yeah, my name is Steve!! haha

Welcome aboard Steve! Looking forward to more pics as you start working on your project. Where did you find that van, The States or Canada?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

As for the avatar pic.....that's the goal! I'm hoping to drop it and I've already got the 18" wheels to go on 'er. I found the van here in Canada just outside of town. Not too many around these parts. I almost had myself a 64 Econoline, but this one was much closer, less work, and cheaper.

I'll definately be taking progress pics, so hopefully the snow will melt soon so I can post some pics!
