Maybe we can get the maker of these to do one in Ford, Chevy and Dodge? Smile

My sister-in-law has just ordered one of those to tow behind her VW van. It is being converted as a catering trailer, so she can sell coffee and cakes at shows. Will post piccies when its done.
They are not cheap, she is paying about £15,000 i think, which is well over $20,000....!!!

Dub Box. Pretty neat. Lot's of money it seems. Guess it's better than tearing up and old VW to turn it into a trailer. And, the '79 and up VW Busses are heavy. Most of mine were about 3,900 lbs. empty and removing the engine and trans would only take off about 500lbs.

Show your Sister's operation when she gets up and running--would love to see it and her.

    Gooday mate!

a VW bus can barely pull itself up hills as it is, add a trailer and you are going nowhere.

Yeah, the trailer is being made as we speak. It will have a custom kitchen fitted to be used at shows selling cakes and coffee etc.

I am still trying to convince her to bin the standard engine in favour of a more suitable modern engine... We will see when the trailer arrives whether her van will actually tow it.

Tell me about it. I reckon a burger van or ice cream would sell better, but she likes to be different...!!!
