What do you think of these rims?

I'm torn whether to install aftermarket rims or not. Currently I have the stock 14" steelies with chevy chrome hubcaps. Those laced with thin white walls looks great and classic.

I need a set of new tires and Im thinking for cheaper than a new set of tires, I can find some used rims with decent tires on them.

So, what do you all think? Should I put some new Radial T/A's on my stock rims, or get something like this on CL?

Get them! The craiglslist photos often don't do items justice, they will probably clean up nicely.

cragars are way nicer then the others. did you look into the gm type ralle wheels, with the centers and trim rings they allways look good. can you post the stock wheels your running?? if you are looking for wheels on craigs list also look under rims mag wheels or chrome wheels and again ralle wheels and rallye wheelsif you are looking for cragars also try crager and craiger craigar you will find a lot more...

yes that is the wheels with out the trim rings and center caps.. ask him if he has them. also ask if they will fit disc brakes i'm sure the cragars will, that just gives you the option if you get in to a brake conversion. Although your van looks realy good with the stock wheels,,,

Corvette Rally's are for sure my 1st choice my 2nd choice would prob be old style craiger SS wheels. I am running 7 inch Rally's on my
69 Chevy 90 Van.

The wheels you have now are a classic look for sure, but with the cragars or the right wheel will put a little more pop or attention getting factor, Good luck

Scotty, I'm diggin that original look. You are getting plenty of attention in stock form. Other than the small tires, I wouldn't change a thing. Let me know when you are ready to sell the entire van...

Thanks, I dig the stock look too and it works really well with the classic camper thing I got goin on. I just figured since I need new tires anyway, I might as well see what some other rim options would look like.

BTW, does anyone know what the biggest tire I can fit on that stock rim is? Just to fill out those wheel wells a little more…at least in the back.

Oh well. Just keep the Sportvan the way it is, and get a second van - a panel that you can do more of the street rod look with!

Well, I will just keep an eye out for now. Still need some new tires ASAP...
