    Hey guys

Im the president of a local Car Club here in Southeast GA called the Hooligans C.C. I have been looking for an Econoline Pickup for a long time. I picked this 63 pickup last week. I am working on getting it running right now. Ive replaced the timing chain, condenser, and points. I still haven't been able to get the truck to fire up. I am also doing the body work. I have uncovered soooo much bondo. The last person who did the body work didnt bother pulling any dents out. They just filled it all in with bondo. Here is some of the QUALITY body work I am dealing with.

I went to remove the grill and found that the lower half was bondoed to the truck. The bondo was so thick it covered the mounting bolts

My plans for this truck are
    1. Engine swap to a built 200 (The Buzzing Half Dozen)
    2. Rear End swap. at least an 8" preferable a 9"
    3. A nice new not so shiny Blue Suede paint job. (hot rod flat paint)

I am going to run the little 144 until I am ready to drop the 200. I will do the body work while I drive the truck
I plan for this truck to be my daily driver/parts getter.

Welcome to VV. Maybe your leaf springs aren't bad...it's just a little heavy. Wow lots of mud on that bottom. Hopefully the rest won't be as sculptured as that. Keep the pics coming of your progress.
