ok to change venturi size of autolite 1100?

i have learned that there are 3 or 4 venturi sizes of the autolite 1100 carb, and that they are interchange. i have a carb off a 200 mustang and it has a larger venturi than my 170 econoline carb.

was thinking i might change them out?

any one familiar with this?

I read about this. I have the one for a 170 engine on my 200 at the moment, and it runs fine, but i guess there is no harm in trying. It might improve things a bit...
