    Van Rotisserie Empty Van Rotisserie

    Post by retro-vanner Tue Apr 10, 2012 5:07 pm

    Hey Guys,

I have some heavy duty rectangular tubing and I was considering a rotisserie for my 1967 Econoline. I am planning to do an off-frame restoration and thought this would be a good way to move the body around. It would also allow me to access all parts of the body and simultaneously work on the frame.

I wanted to know if anyone has already done this. I have plans for an automotive rotisserie that would work for a smaller car,

    MG Rotisserie

    Autobody 101 Rotisserie

but I don't know how well it would work for one of our rigs. Does anyone know where the lateral COB would be located on my van?

    Thanks,
    J.

Wow, cool ideas! Might be easier than the rotisserie. Maybe with removable casters so I can roll it around the shop.
