if my 65 g10 ,(that looks stock original and pretty good underneath looking at suspension),it has a small lean (just noticable)to the passenger side rear . would it be pretty good odds that new shocks may sit it back level , or answer may be deeper ?

Well Danny (Stock) Shocks have nothing to to with the stance of a vehicle. I noticed that most G10's have that lean (Both mine do). I think Donivan gave some sort of explanation to me years ago. I have replaced shocks and put new springs on as well and they both still lean a bit. So not the shocks, not the springs! I have yet to measure the spring mounts to see if the driver's and pass. sides are the same distance from the framing. Maybe address it the summer but I've just accepted it for now. Not a bad lean but like you said "Just noticeable". I did consider helper or even air shocks for the front at on time but never found any that were narrow enough to fit.

My 64 also leans to starboard. I think it may have been in the planning as they were origanly a work truck with driver only and sits level with a driver.

Lester, I think Donivan's answer was very similar to that. The strange thing is it would have to have been designed into the body and framework since the lean is not from the suspension unless the mountings for the springs are different heights on the driver's and passenger sides which would be weird.... Anyone ever measure? I might have to....
