definately not from here... if you do get one of these saying it's from here, NEVER reply and give out your password! Hackers are hoping you use the same password here for other personal accounts
I see that is was also mentioned that VCVC was sending out these notices... So it may have been them

I just talked to Amie (Smiley's wife) and confirmed that she sent out membership confirmation emails to everyone who had ever registered in their (VCVC) forums.
