1966 Oldsmobile : Vista Cruiser Wagon

Nice find Vanish. That's almost exactly like my first car. I think I had the smaller V8, but it did have the Powerglide. Those skylight windows leaked. Mom wouldn't let me drive it solo for the first month or so. Drum brakes. AM/FM/Cassette in the glove box. Gas hit $1/gal. The Romantics and Journey blasting thru the 6x9 speakers in the 'trunk'. Late for class because Steve and Gary were discussing Disco Demolition, Steve's embryonic son Patrick being the size of your thumb nail, and the "All the tea in China" father. Good times in 1979!

Are you suggesting someone buy this to cut up and take the roof from it? This is a van site after all.....what else would we want a station wagon for?

cut the roof off put it on an early, then clean up whats left and sell it as an elcamino! oldsmobile wasnt the only wagon with this style roof i know buick made them and i think pontiac did too. unsure of the years they were built
