a perfect truck but it is very solid with a perfect tailgate,hinges, and rods.
It's painted Army green with 5 nice original 14" black wheels and correct
perfect black bumpers with correct license plate lights. The original hubcaps
and rectangular stem mirrors are painted silver as is rhe rear view mirror. It
was painted about 7 years ago and has spent most of that time stored
inside,however the last 2 years its been outside. It has a few small surface
rust spots but no body rot anywhere. It still looks good.
It has the original rear corners still very solid with inner supports in
tact. I stripped the interior completely 2 years ago and am just now getting it
all put back together. I had the whole cab interior painted by a body shop since
the previous owner never did the interior. It now has all new window
rubbers,door seals,vent rubber seals,cat whiskers and door channel felts. The
seats are recovered brand new. Sunvisors are new from Mac's as is the floor mat.
Doghouse is repainted as is the vent box,heater,and battery box. Dashboard is
perfect.
Also has new front and rear lenses. Today I went thru the brakes and repacked
the bearings. Hopefully by the weekend I'll have the dash back together,the
heater box reinstalled,the cherry steering wheel installed,and flush the cooling
system and new thermostat. Gonna drop the gas tank and replace the hoses also.
Quick oil change and lube and should be good to go.
Truck also has a nice trailer hitch bolted in. Bed is very solid and
straight. Has nice belly pan and the side mini pans also. Also has a sway bar.
It's a 170, 3 speed stick.
The paint job previous owner did isnt perfect but its decent.
Basically its all factory correct parts,no aftermarket junk. The hard parts
done since I added all missing parts to complete it.
Price is $5000 if anyones interested before I put it on Ebay. It's gotta
go,college bills are killin me and my overtime has been cut drastically this
past year. I'll have pics in about a week.
