camp wagon Empty camp wagon

Post by GRAYGHOST Sun Aug 28, 2011 8:25 am

Finnaly got the the 66 camp wagon home from california , I have always been into chevy and gmc vans , thought I would test the mopar waters with this one , so far I am very impressed with some of the features on this van , I always have liked the looks of these earlys , this all started with the purchase of my uncles L700 TILT CAB. That lead to picking up a 67 108 panel with a 318 and 727 auto , then I was able to buy 68 108 8 door for parts, kinda got out of control , but now I think I got enough LOL , you never know whats lurking behind someones barn or treeline , can't help myself I am an addict grayghost [img]https://i.servimg.com/camp wagon Pictur10u/f41/15/91/89/09/pictur10.jpg[/img][/ucamp wagon Kgrhqi11rl]

Thanks , it really is a cool rig with 273 v-8 and 727 auto, 3.55 rear from the factory , fronts are 245/45ZR17 , rears are 275/40ZR17 , had to use 1 1/4 spacers on the rear to keep em off the leafs . they all fit very nice , love the fat look from the back , I will post more photo's , its raining here as hurricane Irene moves along , looks like tomorrow will be better in the afternoon for a photo op, gray ghost

Grayghost, I'd love to see some interior pics. I'm about to rebuild the "camper" part of the inside of my "68. It is always cool to see other floor layouts of the camper models. Thanks for sharing!
