    New 'custom' seat covers Empty New 'custom' seat covers

    Since the budget is non-existent and the seats were in pretty horrible shape I decided to sweep the problem under a rug, so to speak, and cover them with something that would hide the ugliness within.
    Well, here is the results of $10 spent at Marshall's;

    It took a lot of looking to find something in a color that wouldnt blend and not look horrible all at the same time. The covers used to be a plush throw. They actually match the shag carpet roof pretty well. Guess I forgot to take a photo of that though.
    Opinions? Anybody jealous What a Face ?

    I am leaving them just laying across the seats for ease of washing purposes. Being a mechanic means I am going to be driving it around 99% of the time in filthy jeans so I want to be able to keep them somewhat green by washing them once in a blue moon. If I were to permanently attach them it would be a real pain. That and the material isnt really durable enough for permanent duty. When this stuff wears out I will either replace it with the same stuff or finally get around to replacing/re-covering the seats properly.

    I thought of that, but the drivers seat back has no upholstery material left on it. It would basically be tape on foam which I dont think would last long.
