Matt, Both work great! Would pick the one in best shape or lowest mileage if known. I personally like the 2004-R's. easy to install and you can use your stock drive shaft. And making a hanger for a 2004r is much easier.....

Re: What are you up to?
Mail off vent glass yesterday to "AVgeek" for the second time.
Good O'l USPS completely destroyed the package I mailed last week.
The good news is I ins. it for $40 and will get it and the $14.95 shipping. So I Ins, the second one for $60.00........

Trannys & shipping
Smart on the usps insurance - I was a Part time postmaster replacement in 3 small town offices. You wouldnt believe the ways these people can do to a box to destroy it. I always use fedx now -those folks are good .
thanx dan - im likely going with the 2004r tranny - ive herd tell they are easier to rebuild.Work just as good

Hi Bob, the color on my engine and covers is not original but is period to MoPar.... "Petty Blue"
Seemed like the right thing to do, as I have always like that color and the King

Re: What are you up to?
Been tidying up a few outstanding issues.... a new Suntach....
Had to give it a 'tap' to start the first time...
runs nice at 800RPM in Neutral
Finished my interior lining a couple of weeks ago - a nice dark fuzzy material, killed heaps of outside noise,
and the new isolator for the battery box, now the lid can stay on...
and these are my seats...Toyato Cynos - a two-door rice-burner, but nice comfy seats, and they recline, tilt and slide back & forward...modded to bolt directly to original fixing points...
drivers side yet to go in again...
Just waitin' on the weekend to go for a spin now...

Re: What are you up to?
The paint is PPG Delfleet 'Sting Red' which is used on the Australian Holden Commodore - looks a bit orange in the photos, and the drivetrain is a Mopar 360ci with 3 spd auto, currently running 2.76:1 rears.
