what year??? 2nd gen that 4.3 should fit right in, first gen will need the doghouse mod's or get a 2nd gen doghouse for a first gen

Well you will have the same issues with the 4.3 as you would a V8, it just to wide. Many have made mod's to widen it on each side. wideload has this on his 65. And billski has a custom mod on his 66. How much to mod I can't tell you. I'm putting a V8 in my 64, but I'm using a 2nd gen doghouse
