Ok well the other day I picked up a brand new Holley 600cfm carb for a killer deal. Would this be to big for the 273 in my A100? If I don't use it on the 273 I will save for another engine, that I plan to built for the van later down the road.

Re: Carb question
I put that same carb on the 289 in my Mustang. More power and better gas mileage.

Re: Carb question
Ok I am getting closer to installing the Holley on the 273. I have acquired a Edelbrock LD4B manifold and purchased a Fel-Pro 1243 gasket set. My question now is should I block the heated crossover on the manifold or not. I am not worried about performance, but drivability.

Re: Carb question
dont block it =driveability!! also might need a re-jet in the holly - just due to eng. size-only a small amount - yet the mileage will improve it - go to the holly site 2 get the sixe jets =see chart
