The gas pedal in my 66 supervan is broken off just above the floor. I can still drive it but it takes a lot of muscling and foot finesse. Does anyone know of a good place to look for a replacement or if a f-100 or bronco pedal would work?

I would go with one of these and a cable.

So is the actual pedal broke off or the part the pedal bolts to broke off?

From what I can see it looks like it's a rod that comes up from the floor and the pedal attaches to it. It's kind of mangled though and I don't have the manual to identify certain parts just yet. The stub is sticking up about 3/4 of an inch from the floor and I can still drive it but it's difficult. I found this:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Accelerator-Gas-Pedal-Early-Ford-Bronco-1966-1977-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4cf53d682cQQitemZ330531956780QQptZVintageQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I heard a lot of the bronco parts were compatible. Any advice on this? Need to get a camera to make this easier...

If the stub still has 2 holes in it where the pedal bolts to you just need a new pedal. It sounds like it may have broke off though as short as you make it sound.

It broke in the middle of the first hole. Looking for a replacement if anyone has any leads I would appreciate it.
