    soaked the hell outof it. buddy of mine is coming up from the south to take the trans back with him, to rebuild for me. dont know what stall im going with just yet...back from the car wash..... 100_0810

    you might want to get into a new tranny mount while it is out. that one is looking worn.

    your rite, it was posted on here along time ago about the tranny mount . ill have to look it up. that will be fixed. once my buddy opens it up well know whats going on.........

    interesting....... old trans from 60's but newer style nuetral safety switch. original should have a single wire that bolts on i believe. and yes get a bushing for that mount. i also would have bet you had the mid or longer tailshaft mount with a 108 van. just proves nothing is for certain with these old units.!!

    i looked long and hard and could not find a nuetral safety switch with a single prong. i had to use the 3 prong as well
