I do like the look of no bumpers - yet --like many = I=worry about the Gals in the parking lots with kids , lattaes, and eating the supersized Big Macks - all while parking!! Whats the best way remove the paint / chrome from a bumper so it can be painted?? Thanx to all

to remove the paint from the bumpers, lightning strip works nice.
as for the chrome i`m not sure just how to strip the chrome off.
Paint doesn`t like to stick to the chrome, ya might try bead blasting
the chrome, paint might stick better.

I have used self-etching primer and had good luck on new chrome.

Put some heat to the back side of the bumper and you can peel off the chrome. Blasting always work well on painted bumpers...
