On Sunday we had a small Econoline get together at my house in RI. 3 Econoline pickups, 2 early Falcon Deluxe Club Wagons, 2 early Econoline 8 door vans, 1 early Econoline window van, 1 early Econoline TravelWagon window van and 2 mid year vans. About twenty five people attended, some without thier vans. We all had a great time and plan on doing it again next year.

I see the blue parts van and the blue pickup are gone. Is the Falcon Club Wagon back on the road yet? Did you sell the primered pickup yet?

2010 econoline picnic in RI DSC09786-vi

I did some whittiling on the nose from the blue van and I got a pretty decent patch for my eight door. I was worried about the rust but I think it will be ok. The drivers side had a lot of rust in it but this side is good.

Looks like everybody had a great time. Wish we could have been there. Thanks again for putting up with Dianna and myself during our visit and for all the hard work you put into my truck. I know it was tuff trying to get it all done in such a short time frame. I wish you could have heard the compliments at the Mid South Meet. Everybody loved you work.

    Duane,
I sold the blue pickup, the black pickup and the 67 Club Wagon. The Club wagon is still here, part of the deal was new front seat covers. It should be gone next week. I also have someone interested in the 63 US Navy pickup.
and 3 people interested in the gray 63 5 window.
Don and Doug headed back to Canada today. I think their total round trip was 2000 miles in the 66 Econolines. I carpeted Don's window van while they were in NYC. I had done the visors, seats and front door panels a couple of years ago. the rest of the interior was done in Canada.
I did the interior in Doug's pickup a couple of years ago also.

I knew you sold them. I was just surprized to see it still at your place. I thought maybe the new owner brought it back for the picnic.

First rate work on the Doug and Don's trucks. Doug's pickup is a work of art. It's one of my all time favorite pickups. It was great to see them in person and meet both of them.
