I have a 66 Econo with a newly rebuilt 300/6, I was given a Clifford 6=8 intake manifold and I am wondering what size Holley carb I should be looking for, I know I need to keep the CFM's around 500 but Im just not sure how big I can go without having issues ....thanks.

A 500 cfm Edelbrock Performer would do very nicely.

Re: What size Holley for my 300
Wow. IMO, 500cfm is going to be WAY over carb'd...
I have a rebuilt 300/6, clifford intake, clifford headers, big valves, custom cam, ported, etc., etc...
I'm running a Holley 390 and it goes like stink. If anything, I'm still over carb'd.

Re: What size Holley for my 300
I like Edelbrock but good luck finding anything under a 500 CFM. You really should keep in the 255- 350 CFM range for the L6 300. This will give the the best overall response, power & mileage...
