    Help...
Anyone know where I might get my hands on an Econoline 5 window pickup..
preferably with an automatic and maybe a V8?
Are any van/swap shows coming up in the NY/NJ/PA tri-state area?
    All appreciated.

These old crates are getting tough to find. Mine had the little 170 and I quickly yanked that out and settled in a 302, AOD and a 9". The swap was very easy. Good luck on your search.

Casimer, One may not show up right away, and don't fall in love with the first thing you find. The right one will find you

Casimier...I spotted a 1964 Econo pickup in Mentor, Ohio for sale. Looked nice from the road so I stopped this evening and wrote down the info on the windshield. Sorry I didn't have a camera on me, but looked nice. He was asking 12K and the phone # was 440-382-3147 oh, it had a BB 429 in it!!

Hey B.W., Go back and take that picture... especially if you can get a shot of the motor! Knew of an early Econo with a 427, the owner made a lot of money smoking the locals in the " I can`t believe I just got toasted by a van" club. I think his cousin worked at the tire store. lol

Indian 640...Here are those photos, but alas it was closed up and I couldn't get a decent shot of the 429! I think that this is more in the 6K range myself for a price, as it had a few nicks and missing door handles etc. IMHO

Wow, Clean little ride.. I agree 6K but no 12. The post above from FMC 56 is the truck I just bought. 65 Spring Special that has a Ford Motosport 302 w/ C4 and a 9" rear. It will take a little work to get it as smooth as this one, but worth it to us. Thanks for getting the pics. Art
