Re: Project "G"
Yes I am Vanish, It has been changed to much to bring it to stock. And it looks good too. After looking at it for a while I have decided to gullwing the side door and get rid of the hinges for a smoother look.

Re: Project "G"
wideload I have a buddy helping with the welding. He did this to his pickup and when finished the tubs looks factory. The only reason I bought this van was the body. Yes it does still need somme body work, but for the most part its solid. Now the rest of it is a basket case.

Re: Project "G"
I didn't do the lowering someone else started it, but really didn't do it right. I'm right now saving up to do this right. Right now there's no springs or shock on the front end. the axle moves side to side (not good). This is a pure project. So many things started but never finished. The goal is to have this done in about 2 years. Need to have the lowering done right before I can really put the V8 in. Going to use a 700r4 trans. Also working on a deal for a gullwing door for the side so I can remove the side hinges for a smooth look on the passager side.
My 69 is in much much better shape than this 64, but should be able to have more fun builting this one. It so far from stock that I can have more fun customizing this one. Where the 69 was so solid that I couldn't make my self do any cutting into the body. I have a ton of plans for this ,but you'll have to wait to see them.

G-man, are you going to be installing the air bag system yourself? If so please take as many photos as possible. Would love to do it myself in the future.
