The black 69 Chevy was still around in the 90's in RI. Tom sold the truck and the new owner painted it brown and had "Smarty's Spa" lettered on the side. The van had a 12 bolt posi rear axle, 4 speed and a 327 in it. Originally it had a V-8, automatic and was a one owner truck, no rust or dents.G-Man wrote:A brunch of cool early's there. I love all those old pictures. I have often wondered what has ever happened to some of the really tricked out custom vans from back then. Would love to find one tucked away some where.
