We certainly felt it here in Santa Fe Springs. We emptied the plant and waited until an inspection said we were safe to go back in. No one hurt and no equipment damaged luckily.

Did you feel that quake in the mid-west a few months ago? That was a new experience for me. And now we have floods. California looking better each year, mud slides, quakes, and fires be damned. At least their cars don't rust out.

My wife is in LA on business right now, she phoned the other day to say there was an earthquake. We get a few of those here in Ottawa too, we're right on a major fault but it's deep underground.

We didn't feel that quake here a few months ago, but our quakes are really nothing here. CA is a great state but living with all those fires, quakes , mud slides would be too much for me.

I had a couple of customers from CA in my shop flipping out because my cases of loose glass and aluminum weren't strapped down. It kind of made me appreciate the mid-west.
