anybody have any tips for getting the side doors open? they just wont open, maybe the lock is stuck and needs some lube in the keyhole? I was registered here with a different name but could not log in with that name for some reason. I wanted to take pics of my van and was thinkin about posting it here in the for sale section. 66 panel in Ca. with black plates, 3-on the tree, 6 cylinder

Look inside the door and see if the rods are hooked up,,,,,and pull up on that C shaped lever that the key cylinder lever operates to unlock the handle and see what happens,,,,,the top rod needs to move down and the bottom rod needs to move up for the doors to open

Its easy,,,,,stick a digital camera in there and shoot 10 pictures and hope one turns out,,,,,,but the handle won't turn if the key won't turn, so reach in there and try and move that section that the key cylinder is rubbing against,,,,,,

The picture is way better than you cutting a big hole in the inside panel so you can stick your head in there to see what is going on in there!!!!
