I cannot get the glove box door to open all the way, (opens @ a 1/3 of the way ). I am using the 4 predrilled holes at the bottom of the dash. Bought a second pair of hinges, and the results were the same... Tried every possible way to mount door with no change. The alignment of the glove box door seams to the dash opening are perfect in the closed position. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 62 EPup if that matters.

Dennis, open it 'til it stops and take a few pix of the hinge, different angles. Send them to me, CapeCanal@comcast.net. I'll compare them to mine.

Maybe that hinge is on backwards?

That was my theory, I looked at mine last night and it is a funky looking hinge. On mine the half of the hinge with the HOOK is on the door, and the one that is just curved is on the dash. I'm not sure that is a good description but it's all I got..
