A lot of people are using the dodge a100 dog box 5 pc ,
every thing bolts together and bolts down,,

I actually have one of those Dodge dog houses. I find it bigger and not sure about the lid design. The Chevy has a much deeper lid, and I find I cant close this Dodge as tight as I am used to. Do you know why vanners have used the Dodge doghouse for the conversions to an 8 cylinder ? Is it because of what you mentioned about it being bolted together ?

the dodge box is wider and bigger, if the gm or econo`s are welded then your access is limited where the dodge you can remove any one side,
not sure about your lid problem new gasket and it should seal like any other
