As most of you know by now the Nationals have been postponed until July 7-11, 2021. That being said, we thought we would do some things a little different this year. The National Truck-In Board
will be hosting a virtual van-in known as the Viral Van-In on social media the weekend July 9-12, 2020. What we need from your group is to commit to hosting an eVANt in your area. This could be a small gathering in your yard or park, a club happy hour, Bar-b-que, cruise night or whatever works for the restrictions in your area at that time. You would then do a live video of your eVANt and post it at a specific time. What this may mean is doing a live takeover of the special Viral Van-In page we are creating on social media. Of course, we are still working on the details at this time and will get back to you on how to do this.
We will also be hosting a Virtual Van Show. We would like you to do a one-minute video of your van and we will post that as well. We will judge the vans and virtual awards will be given.
There will also be a Bible for the event. It will more than likely be printed not virtual. For this we would like you to do a short synopsis of your club or an event you host. If your event has been postponed and you have a flyer or dates, we will be printing them as well. If you want to participate in the Bible please have your story submitted to me @ Judpilon@aol.com by the 1st of June.
Music for the event will be selected by each group as well. Your club is encouraged to make a play list of your songs via the popular streaming services like itunes or spotify and provide us with a QR Code for the bible so that participants at home can scan your code with their phone and hear your party playlist during the weekend as well.
Those who are pre-registered for the Nationals will be sent some small collectable items that would not be available to others. We are also going to make a group of items a “Truck-In pack” with some commemorative items to use while we are vanning from home. When this becomes available, we will let you know.
