Re: Bench seats
Astro benches are quick-disconnect and the lap belts are connected to the seat (not the floor)…. To properly install them, you need to graft the floor cups for those seats into the floor of your van... The front legs simply drop into their cups from the rear and hook on cross-shafts in the cups as the rear feet line up to drop into theirs and the latches hook under two more cross-shafts......They are designed so that you can pop both out in about 5 minutes....

Re: Bench seats
You got pictures of what you got? Usually the brackets that the seats hook into,,,,,dont go in the floor,,,,they ARE the floor,,,,,,so you would have a lot of work to do that to your van,,,,,easier to modify the seat brackets with like L brackets or angle iron,,,,but lets see what you got,,,,,

Re: Bench seats
I surely see cutting off those hooks and using angle iron to mount the seat to the floor as the easiest way,,,,,,,

Re: Bench seats
Here is a 74 inch long belt from Oreillys,,,,,,you need to measure how long a belt needs to be while someone is sitting there and WHERE you are going to connect it to,,,,,the floor sure sounds like a better place than just to the seat frame,,,,,you could probably get some nice shoulder belts from the wrecking yard,,,,,it dont matter what belt you have on yourself,,,,if you hit something your gonna be dead,,,,,but make the rear seat as safe as possible,,,,,
