Intake manifold fitment. Empty Intake manifold fitment.

I'm about to start sprucing up the 240 in my '65 SuperVan and as wondering if anyone knows if the Offy or Clifford intakes will fit in the doghouse, or if I have to mod it.

Im looking to put a Holly Sniper 2300 2bbl EFI setup on there.

Welcome Space Ottersy! Or do you go by Major Tom? I don't have an answer but I'm sure someone will happen by that does.

My friend Matt has completed the sniper 2300 install and I am in the process of copying his set up on my 67 240. He used stock manifold with an adapter. Neither manifold you mention will fit into our doghouse. Only the rarest of the rare Edelbrock SP-180 240/300 manifold will fit, but they are impossible to find. If you are on Facebook join “60s ford Econoline” group and search sniper for photos and tidbits. The photos show the Jeep version of the 2300 but Holley has since come out with the GM version which orients the throttle in the correct position.

I'm going to install that 2CG sniper myself one of these days.

That's awesome! So holly offers the adapter them selves? Good to hear of other vans that have done the sniper.

You will need to use an after market adapter. From the original ford manifold to the Holley 2300 2GC I am using adapter 2025 from Transdapt. I Picked it up off of Amazon.

I had a friend who does sheet metal work fabricate a bump out on my doghouse to accomodate my Offenhauser intake and Holley 4 barrel. I tuck rubatex insulation in the gap where the bump out closes to keep fumes out. Note that the passenger seat has to move forward a couple of inches.
