My road Dog "isis" Empty My road Dog "isis"

Post by Russell Sun Jul 28, 2019 10:14 am

I'm having a very sad day today. My Awesome Dog "Isis" has an appointment to be put down this afternoon. She has lost the mobility of her rear legs, hips etc.
Without going into all the "Vet" bills, recommendations etc. My wife and I both believe she will not be able to recover.
Also today is her 11th birthday, my wife and I thought it would be best to wait for her birthday to put her down. it has been a very long week for both of us.
I have such wonderful memories and many pictures, I always tried to take her with me everywhere and everyone who has ever seen her will tell what a great Dog she has been.
If you are a Dog owner you know how much this can hurt our hearts.

I'm really going to miss her.

Hey, they don't call them "Man's best friend" for nothing. I know this is a heartbreaker. Our sympathies are with you.

She looks like she was Weimerunner or German short hair. Sorry for your loss. Your memories of her will always be with you and will help you go on.

Russell I can understand your pain. I have also lost my childhood friend. He was a german shepherd. Yes, since childhood my father taught me to make friendships with pets. According to my father, dogs are the best and honest friends. I was in early teens when we lost german shepherd dog who was Ace. After high school, my father gifted me a golden retriever puppy but we found that he had down syndrome. Hopefully, you guys know about down syndrome or can read from here ( https://ourfitpets.com/behavior/can-dogs-have-down-syndrome/ ). We contacted many vets but these days there were few gadgets and safety tools to take better care of him. He lived for only 24 months. Losing dogs is just like losing your loved ones. Crying or Very sad

By the way, how cute and clean your Isabeau is. I love its colour. I also want one but I don't think my husband will allow having 3 dogs at home at the same time. Yes, I have 2 golden retrievers.
