I talked with the fellow that bought his van, He is hearing impaired and can't speak real well but he was sure proud of His two yellow chevy vans! Showing me lots of details and even insisting that I get down on the ground and look how clean they were underneath, One proud owner for sure!

This is a hard core, dedicated, somewhat crazy bunch of dudes and dudettes, The weather leading up to this show on Friday was 51 of 71 days of rain, no telling how many inches.  Fairgrounds were more like slopping the hogs instead of a van show or campgrounds, but the faithful endure. And the turnout was strong, hundreds of vans there.



Tracks I left as I parked my vehicle, yes 4 wheel drive was necessary. My van had radiator failure the night before so I had to go in my Expedition

This dodge was slick, econousa said it was a long wheelbase, chopped down to a one door, sorry no good side pic, people were thick and hard to take good shots.

Of course I like it when people name their vans...

This was the nicest Dodge I saw, very clean, shaved handles gullwing doors, cuda side marker lights,  frenched in antennas that were switches to open and close the doors, beautiful paint, very tastefully done, loved it.  The guy has a ton of custom parts for sale, fender flares, gullwing doors, visors spoilers etc..

Some "Great" photos Magic..Thanks for posting looks like a really good turnout I have been hearing all about the mud and the cool weather from the Florida Van Council & Club members all week still rain or shine I wish we was there..!!!...LOL..but it finally quit raining and the sun came out... Some really "Awesome" looking van's there..!!!...Its "Good" to see Chris's (G-Man) Van again & being taken care of so well..!!!..More pictures Magic..!!!...

Not the most telling pic, but looking down the main show lane, the blue chevy is on the left the black pink Floyd on the right, one of the only asphalt areas suitable to show a group of vans out of the mud, lots of people, lots of vans.

Thanks for the posting, I don't do face book. I much prefer direct contact so I gues I will have to try to get there. It would be at least a two week trip for me and a couple grand I am sure.

People accuse me of being absent minded but what are they trying to say? I don't ever remember being absent minded.

Taz has a 383 stroker motor.  Mike has a 440 shoehorned in the dog house.  My poor van A100 has a 318 with a bad valve on the #3 cylinder and an exhaust leak between the manifold and head. The slight lope and exhaust leak makes it sound almost as bad ass as theirs, but it won't do any kind of burn-out.

I really needed to hang in the air conditioned bar for a while! High Fructose Coke on the rocks was so refreshing.    

I tried to get the wife to pose by this one but she wouldn't do it  

I hear ya! I'm sure my wife would just roll her eyes and call me a perv Reminds me of the Poconos with their Heart Shaped Tubs!  

I'm looking at the taillights...Was it a Dodge?
