Will a 67 240 manual flywheel work on a 75 250? Ive heard the 300s work as they are zero balance but not sure if the 240 was or if it will bolt up like the 300 would.Want to do this swap and trying to get my ducks in a row. Thanks!

Re: flywheel interchange
240 and 300 interchange and are 11inch. The 200 and 250 interchange, if I remember correctly, and are 10 or 10 1/2 inch. So, to answer your question, no, I don't think so. Sorry and Happy New Year!

Re: flywheel interchange
My 65 240 came with a ten inch clutch. I don't know if the flywheels interchange. I'll do some more checking and see if they will interchange.

Re: flywheel interchange
I asked your question to Jay Long over at Econosrus and here's what I was able to find out.
Duane, short answer, yes.
Long answer is, of course, more complicated. Most of the 250s came with the smaller 157 tooth flywheel, and the 240/300 came with a 164 tooth. Bellhousings are different (starter position). On a manual transmission it's simple, just use a 240/300 bellhousing to match the flywheel. Crankshaft bolt pattern is the same on both (bigger than the 144/170/200) and all the sixes had a zero balance flywheel.
On an automatic you also have to match the torque converter, to both the flexplate and to the transmission. I don't know if all the combinations are available. Early transmissions (C4) had smaller splines than later ones. Passenger versions had a smaller converter with a different stud spacing and drain plug location than truck ones. And the truck ones were deeper and had a different offset, so you can't just redrill.
