Yes it is Matt's old van from Alabama, I am continuing to use the 350 TBI motor...I am working on the 1990's GM tilt column and a Mustang II rack, Bagging it fully and should have 18 inch wheels and lay on the ground...It's now 110 degrees in Arizona so it will be slow progress for a while I will post more as it comes...check back

good work. any reason why youve gone through all that work and opted not to go to the ground?

Re: Bagged 1966 G van under construction
Not done with all the suspension in rear, plus wheels I am using are 18s so the final stance may be different. To each his own...I don't want to raise the floor either. I am 6'4" ...so keeping it roomy is a goal of mine. KEEP POSTED

Re: Bagged 1966 G van under construction
Looking good! This looks alot like my 65' project. I struggled with the final stance height and settled on somewhere between 5-7" static (no bags) for a usable interior and ground clearance. I ended up raising a rail across the rear axle but kept the rest of the floor at the OG height. What part of AZ are you in? I would love to come take a look at this project. I work in Chandler and my van is in Tempe.

Re: Bagged 1966 G van under construction
without giving the wheel away I will tell you it will be an 18x7.5 and it will have the same paint color as the van ( I wont talk about color scheme yet cause I don't want the public to know 'til I am further along) next up is front tie rod ends and then mock up powertrain...cant wait

Hit'n'Switches! That's laying out nice. Takes a lot of work to make it do that!
