i have dynamat on the inside of the dog box, i'm thinking since i have it all apart it would be a good idea to use a fiberglass mat for the heat comming through, the dynamat is great for sound deadining, i'll have my headers wraped to, i cant think of anything else to try, any ideas? i found this stuff on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/271302536558?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

Re: engine cover insulation
This is what we used on our A-100: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tru-blip12406/overview/ Was reasonable and did the whole inside of the DH and worked fine! Cab is now cool, while engine is running!
