Re: 1964-1966 Stock example wanted.....
hahaha how much does a brand new drivetrain cost?.. how much for an original van
(also with no windows) that has not been molested beyond recognition
i only logged in here to let yall know.. the spare parts alone (a solid van load of em)
that are included are worth a major portion of my asking price
amazing how folks can crank about an asking price without knowing the actual details
or.. how negotiable seller may be to someone actually serious.. not just punting tires..
but thats cool.. good to know where some views stand
good luck out here..
i know there's an endless supply of cheap rust free unmolested early vans out here pffft!
i'm not hungry, and i'm not stupid.. only owned 8 of these..saved this one from a barn falling on it
and know what it's is.. and whats included
so being "stuck" owning a good doesnt suck a bit... hahahaha
van on and gooood luck

Re: 1964-1966 Stock example wanted.....
Leadfoot, what's up with the patched area around the gas filler? I would agree that's a bit high but as the saying goes you can always come down but ya can't go up. Also I think the term "original van" gets tossed around as much as barn find. Original to me wouldn't have a patch panel and wouldn't have a red door on a green van minus the bumper. I'm not picking on your van just telling you my opinion which is exactly that, just my opinion. It looks like a very solid platform for someone to work with.

Re: 1964-1966 Stock example wanted.....
oh the red door is in question.. well the original door is also included.. along with a few other doors if the buyer wants em
along with the bumper of which if i am so stuck with this turd ,will attach a hitch to it
so it can drag the 8ft early van trailer i have with here too
the gas filler has been replaced.. like so many have.. it has not been finished to paintable surface
so hmmm i could primer is all.. then ..whats he hiding?
nothing to see here.. i have nothing further to ad and having a friend change my password
van speaks for its self in person.. along with whats included
original yes.. 49yrs and still no radio, original seats, wheels and only thing "upgraded" was the hei distributor..just vecause i had one and they are more reliable for the miles I drive..
oh and i even have photo documentation of the barn it sat in for 16 years
should i get a note from the guy i bought it froms mom too?
so yeah.. whatever

Re: 1964-1966 Stock example wanted.....
No need to cop a tude as they say. We're just having a discussion here and asking for some clarification. I would think these would be the normal questions asked by any buyer interested in it. I almost thought from the add there were 2 different vans pictured. I have no idea what you refer to when you speak of changing your password or for what reason???
