Very close to me Ford is not out of the question just have a lot of Chevy stuff may do a ford whith chevy engine. Back in the day I did many V8 conversions for the van-er crowds Fords were easier but I liked the Chevy's better. Thanks for all you do on this Forum...Jim

Thanks. Since this pic was taken, a lot of the extra stuff on the motor has been removed, trans lines have been shortened up for external cooler and the motor has been cleaned up. All will come out for final build. Mock up is key.

There is an E type running around my town of Sequim got Chech and Chong on the side. His engine sits a little low but he gets around just fine. I don't think he cut the dog house?

I wasn't going to cut mine, but there was only about half inch of clearence on passenger side and thought hmmm what if the motor moves that far when I hammer on the throttle. Then I heard about cooling problems and just went for it. When it's complete the boxes will be under the seats and the DH will have some good air flow.

Did you ever find your van? I have a '65 window van I will sell. I've taken some parts off it, but it could be restored. Also there is a panel van in Idaho that somebody should build, it has a good body and the guy will sell it cheap
