Hey all, in the process of redoing our '67. It's got manual steering which is rather sloppy. I'd love to tighten it up. However, all the redone steering gears I see are for the Mopar passenger cars, and when I call folks they say they won't work for my A100. Had a Coronet before that we put a Firmfeel steering gear in and I loved it. I'd love to fix up the steering on the A100 but am having a hard time figuring out where to start. Do I just need to bite the bullet and pull the gear and send it somewhere for a rebuild? If so where? Thanks a ton...

Re: Steering gear options
An A-100 steering box is all by itself in design. The steering colum is actually attached to the box.
There is an adjustment screw accessible through the grille so you can take up some of the slack. Other than that you'll have to have your box rebuilt.
