Bumper's or no bumper's?
I think E's look great w/o bumpers. Thinking about removing mine. What are the pro's and con's? I've seen a few pic's of wrecks and the bumper didn't seen to do any good at protecting from body damage. So why have them?

Re: Bumper's or no bumper's?
I took my front off and left the rear on. Just liked the way it looked.
My daily driver is an 04 jeep rubicon, I was at a light a while ago and a guy hit me in the rear. Pushed me into the guy in front of me. The only damage were the front and rear bumpers. So I guess it is better to leave them on....

Re: Bumper's or no bumper's?
I have always had bumpers of some kind, some were wood, nerf bars etc. but this time I am going bumper less on my 61 Econo pickup. Dennis at dddbrakes has new roll pans for sale and I am going to use them.

Re: Bumper's or no bumper's?
I am going stock bumper on the front, reason being that the nose is hard to fix if just bumped, kinda hoping the bumper will protect it a little , and bumperless on the rear... I think they look cool with the rounded backend....
(no finished pic of the backend??)

Bumper on the rear none in the front. Will most likely put nurf bars of some sort on front, similiar to vanishing breed

Re: Bumper's or no bumper's?
It's a choice you have to make on your own... No bumpers look better to me but they call them bumpers for a reason. Both my vans are and will be daily drivers so I'm keeping mine on...........

Re: Bumper's or no bumper's?
I like 'em both ways, but there's just something about going without them that appeals to me the most. Might go for some nerf bars in front at some point. I worry about the protection aspect, but what the hell...

Thanks to all. Hard decision to make. Never really thought of the nerf bar thing. Anyone have any pics of one w/the bars?

Re: Bumper's or no bumper's?
I don't have bumpers on mine. It came with a pair in very bad condition, the rear is complete rubbish.... I don't think i will find any kicking about over here....!!!
I was toying with the idea of nerf bars, or maybe making some bumpers from scratch that fit a bit better than the originals...

Re: Bumper's or no bumper's?
I love the look of the e trucks with no bumpers...mine arent off yet but are coming off when I get the paint on...on the van Im leaving them on...though I do still llike the look of the van w/o bumpers too..
As far as protection....I guess it depends on your finances, how you have it insured etc... If you can afford a replacement then if you like the look w/o bumpers then thats what you should run...

In terms of protection, I was think more of "Passenger Protection" more than the van itself.....
Because lets face it. If you have an accident............ "You are the first one there" (By design),,,,,,

So, are these home made or adapted for use on our vans?
