    back on the dyno for set up after a bunch of improvments;

    click on images to see the big picture

    I repositioned the cold air intake with smooth tubing and prefab rubber bends.
    Install new axcell injectors, removed the cold start injector. Installed an adjustable fuel presure regulator. New EGR valve and cooling system mods including the Taraus two speed fan.

    Main inprovments; the van starts way better, idles and runs much smother at all rpms. Easily achives higher rpm range faster.

    We made the TCC come on automatically at the correct speeds and disengage at the correct time as well. Set the cooling fan to come on slow at 200* and go off at 195*
    We had to richen up the mixture at most rpms, increase power enrichment and reduce timing by 5* to control detonation.

    We gained about 12.5 HP and 5 ft/lbs of torque but mostly expanded the torque curve by 1000 rpm. and the wide open throtle is higher rpm.It used to run out of air at 4800 now its still making power at 5800 and wanting to go more.

    As you can see on the graph I now get 244.7 ft/lbs of torque at 2500 rpm and max HP comes in at 172.6 and 210ft/lbs at 4500 rpm

    it pulls pretty good.
    Dyno time was 2.5hrs = $400 and I think it is well worth it.

    I love the wheel vidio

    the sound of an engine breathing hard just never wears out, does it?

    By the way people, the guys at the dyno see alot of very exotic HP and expensive vehicles. But the said they have never seen anything as cool as our vans and they both asked me to take then for a tour around the block, they were like a couple of kids on an exibition ride.

    Beautiful work. Looks like under the hood of a German car. Well done, Mark
