    I posted this at the Oldeconolines site but he was a member here also;

    Im truly saddened to report the death of site member Ron Blachut. Eric Duffel
    had emailed him and got a response from his wife saying he died Labor day
    weekend. Most of us knew Ron had the best darn blog on the net chronicaling his
    65 Econoline pickup's restoration and a very extensive list of vendors and
    resources he had used;

    I dont believe the truck ever got finished but I know he spent a smalll
    fortune on it year to date. I ll let you know if I get any further news. I had
    spoken with Ron several times over the years and supplied parts for his truck as
    have other site members. Fred Carello did his seats. Theres a lot of this site
    that went into that truck and we can hold our heads high for that in his honor.
    He and his blog will truly be missed.

    WOW... I didn't expect that. The way that I'm doing things on my Econolines right now go directly inspired by Ron's example. This is sooo sad.

    He made one blog entry remarking at the site visitor from Saskatoon that had spent hours on his pages... yep, me! Exchanged many messages with him. RIP.
