This week on the Home Page we have the spirit of what every vanner would love to do... Road Trip! I just couldn't cut out the chopper and trailer behind TexasJohn's 1969 Ford Van!

    Home Page

Check out his gallery, I especially love the before and after shots of this van. You'll know which ones I'm talking about... Looks like 2 completely different vans...

This after all is the season of road travel... Too bad gas prices will be keeping a lot of us close to home. Sad

Are you ready for Bakers? This time next week we'll be hearing about it from those who went. So will you be telling the story, or reading the story?

What sweet memories that Ford brings. My first Van was a 69 shortie Ford van. It got me hooked and here I am still a Van Fan, though now the love of my vanning life is my 67 Chevy, Diamond in the Rough.

i went threw high school in a 68 cargo, with side pipes and raised white letters. We used to drive all night from houston to galveston (30 miles one way) just going back and forth partying and cruising. Gas was alot cheaper in the late 70's/early 80's. If my mother will send me some of my stuff from texas i should be able to pull a pic or two out for the gallery. She keeps sending junk i dont want.
As soon as we start working on the 64 full on. i'll post so you can watch and will get cheb some shots.
    later guys
