My grandfathers '77

I inherited my grandfather’s van. Over the years I have been a collector of various classic cars and boats but have never owned a van. I never got the opportunity to meet my grandfather, he passed away before I was born. He bought this van new in the late 70’s and did all the costume interior work himself. He passed in 1980 and it has been in storage ever since.. Currently siting at my aunt’s house. When the time is right ill bring the old girl home and do all that’s necessary to bring this old motor back to life after sitting for so many years. The goal is to get it back on the road, cleaned up, and take it to shows. I also have a vintage jet boat of the same year and this will be its new tow rig. I'll attach photos as soon as I can. dude I saw a lot of young people at the nats this year talked to a whole lot of them to some first timers some with dads or grandads vans come to the van ins you will be welcome you are our future vannin is still alive and well I dont care Ford Chevy Dodge come see me I will be happy to see you Dutchman in bright red orange early chevy

Great Story! Can't wait to see the van when you bring it out of storage. Be really cool if you have a picture of your Grandfather with the van. It's always a plus to know the history of a vehicle and have old pics to show.

Sorry for the long delay. I just got over there this weekend and brought the van home. Its in better shape than I thought! could not resist stopping at a self car was and knocking the years of dust and dirt off of it. Not sure exactly how to post pictures.
