"Constance" the Corey Cruiser

Post by IGerboski on Mon Nov 13, 2017 5:02 pm

Hey Kids!
New Member here. Last Nov. I bought my buddies Dad's '69 A108 Corey Cruiser. She's lived in CA for her entire life, I believe, and has little rust. She has @ 160k mi. on the orig. 318 and runs like a top ( I did have some mechanical work done, mostly replacing hoses and cleaning stuff. Had to re-core the radiator, re-build the steering ( challenging! ) and clean up the brakes and suspension, new tires, etc. ). I'm currently working on the interior and windows.
Surprisingly, the refrigerator and range work fine, the water tank holds water and so forth. I have ripped out all the "furniture" and saved all the in-tact pieces as templates for the rebuild. New headliner, carpet, curtains, etc. will go about the same time as the window rubber is replaced.
I'm very excited to have her running and look forward to the adventures ahead!
I'll upload some pics when I figure out how to do that Smile

Cheers and thanks for having me!
