My Early at Work! Empty My Early at Work!

Post by Vantasia Mon Jul 31, 2017 12:29 pm

'Used my '64 G early for actual work yesterday!  I DJ'ed a car show for the grand opening of a local auto repair shop!  I used the van to haul the gear and serve as a backdrop and HQ for my set-up. Got a lot of great compliments all day.  Later, a real documented Barris built Batmobile used as one of the stunt cars in the early movies, not the TV show, arrived.  It was pretty rough and painted flat black and based on a Chrysler Imperial chassis, not one of the million dollar versions but pretty cool nonetheless!

Nay, it was kinda grungy, it's 50's year old and was very crude, it was used for long distance stunts, more like a prop, but was actually built by Barris himself as a copy of the real car, there were three of these the guy said, didn't even run, was dropped of a trailer!
