Dog House question

Post by waxman on Thu Mar 16, 2017 8:14 am

Hello all,

I'm getting ready to insulate my DH and bolt it back in. My question is when you guys insulate do you make it such that you can remove "parts" of the dog house should you need access (seams on seams). Or insulate such that if you need access the whole DG needs to come off.

My thoughts are to better insulate making such that the whole dog house needs to come off. Also I would like to coat the outside of the DG with bed liner (making that easier also).

I have done a bunch of work and have hopes of not needing much more any time soon
thx! It is an Econo but I believe my question is not make specific.

thx

That would be a preference choice and it sounds to me like you would prefer to try to keep it seamless and just remove the whole thing if need be. Hopefully, you won't have to remove it for a long time anyway. Unless others chime in otherwise, I would go with doing it the way you prefer.
Just my 2 cents... What a Face

First assemble the doghouse like you expect to remove it, bolt it all down, then try to remove it.

Just an idea
