My guess is that wiper felt ends go behind the channel run so that the window doesn't affect it.......

AZDON: Thanks for the reply!! I can see the door where the felt go's has a bevel curve to it for the felt to get out of the way of the window channel but of course the felt does not have a bend for that curve to slide behind it!? so it means another tweak to make it smooth!! JOHN (REDVANGO)
