Pulled the rear end out, after careful investigating I came to the conclusion that I had 4.11 gears. before the start of the overhaul I could not get the van up to 60 sober and past 61 with a little beer balls. Soooo, pulled it , my buddy got me some 3.00 to swap, figured I throw them in. Whiles I had em out , figured I do a little more research. They are 3.00 after all, should have just believed the dam tag on the housing.

so their out, miles well pull the drum brakes an get them painted up and cleaned out rightThe Devil is in the detail 20161011

While I have your attention, does anyone know if I can get those axle bolts somewhere, they are all bent.

Im also guessing that the 60 miles an hour thing was a motor issue now. I got that baby all rebuilt waiting to go back. I guess we will see.....not soon enough for me tho.

We swapped a 4.11 for a 3.00. Take off is a bit slower but cruising the highways is much better
