Hey all. I was fortunate enough to pick up a 1967 A100 this summer. There's been obvious exterior cosmetic work done, but most stuff inside is original. And much of it still works. It's got a 318 with 97K on it. From the southwest, so little rust. There's no floor, ceiling, backseats...etc. This thing is just a metal box right now. I've got some big plans for this I will share along the way.
For now I'll share what I've had done to get this thing a bit more reliable:
- gas tank was rusted and patched several times. got it resealed inside and out and replaced sending unit.
- carb had crap from aforementioned rusty tank. cleaned and tuned up.
- point ignition upgraded to electronic.
- changed plugs and wires.
All the best,
Jordan
